Mission

The mission of the Office of Educational Facilities is to provide technical support and information for all issues related to educational facilities planning, funding, construction, and operations throughout Florida's K-20 Education System.

The Pre-Application Project Review Subcommittee of the Special Facilities Construction Committee (“subcommittee”) announces that the subcommittee will be in Okeechobee, Florida, on March 13, 2017.  The subcommittee will conduct a pre-application site visit to review a special facilities project proposal by the School District of Okeechobee County and existing facilities. The subcommittee’s activities will be limited to fact finding related to information that may affect the need for the proposed project.

The subcommittee will receive information from district officials at the district offices at 700 S. W. 2nd Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The subcommittee will also conduct site visits to the Okeechobee Freshman Center at 610 S.W. 2nd Avenue, and Okeechobee Senior High School at 2000 Highway 441 North.  For additional information, you may contact Mari M.
