The Florida Department of Education works closely with school districts before, during and after natural disasters to ensure they have the resources necessary to resume normal operations as quickly as possible. K-12 Public School Closures
- Broward County Schools will be closed Thursday, June 13, 2024.
- Collier County - CCPS Summer School & School Age Child Care Sites will be closed Thursday, June 13, 2024.
- Martin County Hobe Elementary School Extended Day Summer Program has been moved to Port Salerno Elementary until Friday, June 14, 2024.
State University Closures
- Florida Gulf Coast University classes have been canceled through Friday, June 14, 2024.
