Commissioner Pam Stewart to Superintendents: Urge School Staff to Engage Students in Efforts to Thank Our First Responders

Tallahassee, Fla., December 31, 2014 – Today, Florida Education Commissioner Pam Stewart sent the following letter to all state superintendents encouraging them to work with the schools, teachers and principals in their districts to remind our students about the sacrifices first responders make daily to keep us safe. Governor Scott declared next week, January 5-9, as Florida First Responder Appreciation Week.
