Tallahassee - As a way to thank Florida public school personnel, the Florida Education Foundation in partnership with Wet 'n Wild® Orlando is offering discounted ticket prices on park admission now through the remainder of 2012. Wet 'n Wild® Orlando, one of the Sunshine State's premier theme parks, offers a variety of fun water attractions for the entire family.

"Florida educators at every level within a school do so much for our children, and this discounted ticket offer is just one way we could show our thanks for their dedication," said Michael Black, Wet 'n Wild® Sr. Vice President and General Manager. "We are excited to be able to partner with the Florida Education Foundation to show our support for their efforts."

Florida public school personnel can purchase up to six single day admission tickets for the discounted price of $32.99 each, plus tax. For every ticket purchased, $2.50 will be donated to the Florida Education Foundation to support statewide educational programs.

"We are thrilled to share this partnership with Wet 'n Wild® Orlando," said Florida Education Foundation Chairman Dominic M. Calabro. "Their support benefits public school teachers and education personnel and the statewide initiatives to improve educational achievements."

To take advantage of the special ticket prices, public school employees should download the discount flyer at www.wetnwildorlando.com/floridaeducators, the Florida Education Foundation website at www.floridaeducationfoundation.org, or the Just for Teachers website at www.fldoe.org/justforteachers. Employees need only provide the flyer and proof of employment such as an ID card or recent pay stub to purchase tickets at the discounted price.

"I am delighted to thank our public school personnel for everything they do to help Florida students meet their potential," said Education Commissioner Gerard Robinson. "It is a small token of our appreciation for their efforts and I thank Wet 'n Wild for partnering with the Florida Education Foundation to offer special prices and discounts so families can spend time together in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere."

Additional Wet 'n Wild® Orlando values include the "Buy a Day, Get the Rest of 2012 Free" pass for the discounted rate of $46.99 plus tax per person, and discounts at park shops during May 2012 and on food and beverages from June through August, 2012.
