The new computer-based testing experience will provide adult learners with more flexibility as they juggle their jobs and families. While the new computer-based test has the same test content currently offered on the paper test, the new system will introduce a streamlined process that allows online registration and scheduling any time of the day or night, flexible testing appointment windows, and quicker test results.

Individuals wishing to register to take the GED test should visit GED Testing Service to find the testing centers in their area and to register and schedule the exam. The online registration process allows users to select the testing date and time that works the best for them. Testing sessions are available starting the day after registration.
