Florida Adds to GED Computer-Based Testing in Seminole County

- One-stop registration, instant scores, flexible testing appointments -

Tallahassee, Fla., September 25, 2012 - Registration for computer-based GED testing is now available at Seminole State College of Florida. The new GED format is part of the state's effort to help adult students earn their high school diploma in a more efficient and flexible manner. Computer-based GED testing is already offered at testing centers in Alachua, Broward, Citrus, Duval, Escambia, Highlands, and Walton counties.

The new computer-based testing experience will provide adult learners with more flexibility as they juggle their jobs and families. The cutting-edge online system introduces a streamlined process allowing web registration, 24-hour test scheduling, and quicker test results.

Floridians may register to take the GED test by visiting GED Testing Services to find testing centers in their area and schedule an exam. Testing sessions are available starting the day after registration.
