Florida Education Commissioner to Address Florida Association of Colleges for Teacher Education

Florida Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith will join members of the Florida Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (FACTE) on Monday during their spring conference to talk about the subject of teacher quality. Commissioner Smith will update members on the critical role of teacher education programs as it relates to improving educator effectiveness initiatives under the state’s $700 million federal Race to the Top grant.
