Student Growth Implementation Committee to Hold First Meeting Via Conference Call

The Race to the Top Student Growth Implementation Committee will hold its first meeting via conference call tomorrow. During the call, the committee will outline their tasks, discuss a timeline and future meetings, and develop a process for ongoing collaboration between meetings. In addition, the American Institutes for Research will be introduced as the vendor that will be working with the committee to identify, develop and implement value-added models that best meet the needs of Florida’s educators and students. More information about the committee.

Interested media are invited to join the conference call for informational purposes only; however, a limited number of lines are available. All media inquiries should be directed to the DOE press office.
