Higher Education Coordinating Council Meeting to Explore the Future of Higher Education in Florida

The Higher Education Coordinating Council (HECC) will meet Friday at the Department of Education's Turlington Building to discuss the future of Higher Education in Florida. Topics will include cross referencing the final report produced by the Council with prior recommendations from other organizations. The council will also review the tasks required of them and plan for their actualization.

The HECC was formed by the Legislature to address the need to create a world-class education system responsive to the changing economy. Additional information about the Council may be found at http://www.floridahighereducation.org/index.php.
