Florida Department of Education Partners with Parent Resource Center to Offer Parent Workshop in Duval County

Tallahassee, Fla. - In honor of National Charter Schools Week, the Florida Department of Education's Office of Independent Education and Parental Choice will offer a series of parent workshops at charter schools across the state. The workshop theme is "Avoiding the Summer Slide" which focuses on tips for parents to keep children learning during the summer months. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
