Department of Education to Offer Assessment and Accountability Workshop for Media

Tallahassee, Fla., June 15, 2012 - In response to media requests for more information about Florida's assessment and accountability systems, the Department of Education is pleased to announce a workshop on assessment and accountability next week. Reporters will be guided through a brief history of Florida's accountability system and will learn about the transition to FCAT 2.0 and End-of-Course assessments and how school grades are calculated.
