Business Partners to be Honored for Support of Florida Education

Tallahassee, Fla., June 13, 2013 - Commissioner of Education Dr. Tony Bennett will host the 26th Annual Commissioner's Business Recognition Awards reception tonight in Tampa. More than 80 businesses throughout the state will be honored for their innovative partnerships with Florida public schools in support of student academic success.

The award program is sponsored by the Florida Education Foundation and the Florida Department of Education, along with Wells Fargo, Florida Trend, Mosaic, Publix Super Markets Charities and Microsoft. The event is part of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents/Florida School Boards Association joint conference.
