Tallahassee, Fla., November 7, 2013 - Commissioner of Education Pam Stewart today expressed her appreciation to the Alachua and Osceola County School Boards for approving teacher pay raises championed by Governor Rick Scott. The governor pledged $480 million earlier this year to reward teachers and thank them for their nationally-recognized efforts in raising student achievement.
