Division of Blind Services to Host 75th Anniversary Ceremony and Expo

Tallahassee, Fla., April 26, 2016 – Tomorrow, the Florida Division of Blind Services (DBS) will host a 75th Anniversary Ceremony and Expo in Daytona Beach. The anniversary ceremony will feature local attorney Rachel McCullough as the keynote speaker and will include educational sessions, sensory activities for children, business networking opportunities and a technology showcase. The family-friendly events are free and open to the public.

As part of the Anniversary Ceremony, DBS will induct the first members of the "Successful 75," an award program to recognize individuals, organizations and businesses who have remained steadfast in the advancement of independence for persons who are blind and visually impaired.
