Education Commissioner to Present St. Johns River State College With a Scholarship Check for First-Generation & Health Sciences Students

Tallahassee, Fla., August 18, 2015 – Tomorrow, August 19, Education Commissioner Pam Stewart will present St. Johns River State College President Joe Pickens with a check, donated by the Florida College System Foundation, to benefit first-generation students and students pursuing careers in the critical field of health care.

This scholarship is made possible through generous donations from the Helios Education Foundation, Florida Blue, and the Bank of America.
