Florida Education Foundation and Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando Partner to Offer Special Ticket Prices for Florida Teachers
Ticket sales benefit Florida students and educators
Tallahassee, Fla., June 22, 2015 – Today, the Florida Education Foundation announced a partnership with Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando to offer special ticket pricing to Florida educators in thanks for their contributions to Florida students. The offer applies to performances Sunday through Thursday until August 31.
“Florida’s dedicated teachers motivate and inspire their students to reach their goals and become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Colleen Miller, Senior Manager of Sales & Marketing for Blue Man Group. “It’s our pleasure to honor educators while giving back to education in our great state.”
Florida public school teachers can purchase Blue Man Group adult tickets for the discounted rate of $34 plus tax for all ages. The discount is valid for a maximum of six tickets for Sunday through Thursday performances only. Additionally, for every adult ticket purchased, Blue Man Group will donate $2 to the Florida Education Foundation.
“Florida teachers work very hard, dedicating their lives to helping Florida students succeed both now and in the future, and that work shows through increased student achievement and higher graduation rates,” said Florida Education Foundation Chairman Stacy Carlson. “We are so thankful for Blue Man Group’s partnership, for supporting Florida teachers and helping us fulfill our charge to promote and support academic excellence for Florida students.”
To take advantage of this opportunity, educators should visit the Just For Teachers Community or the Florida Education Foundation for the link to purchase tickets. Blue Man Group engages audiences with their unique combination of animated comedy, energetic music and stunning theatrics performed live in a playful atmosphere.
