District Career & Adult Education Data Information System
Florida’s District Career and Adult Education Data Information System provides a system to collect data from Florida’s 67 districts and provide data quality checking and feedback. This system manages both the Workforce development information system (WDIS) and Secondary Career and Technical Education data, performing data quality assurance and feedback to the districts and informing state and federal reporting.
WDIS is the state system for collecting data related to district postsecondary career and technical education and adult general education. Workforce Education Data Systems (WEDS) manages WDIS and provides documentation, support, and feedback to districts.
District secondary career and technical education is reported in the Automated Student information System managed by Education Information and Accountability Services (EIAS). WEDS provides additional support and documentation for districts, especially related to data used in federal Carl D. Perkins reporting.
