Available Grants

Florida offers two grants to support the growth of computer science education:

  • Computer Science Teacher Certification Grant: This grant provides funding to Florida school districts to cover the costs associated with computer science certification and/or professional learning.
  • Computer Science Teacher Bonus Grant: This grant provides funding to districts for qualifying computer science teachers who teach an identified computer science course in the Course Code Directory.

These grants are designed to help districts and schools expand access to computer science courses, improve teacher certification in the field, and enhance overall computer science learning opportunities for students.

We look forward to working with you to support computer science education in Florida. If you have any questions regarding the available grants, please contact CompSci@fldoe.org.
