Rescheduling Refund & Absentee Policies
Rescheduling or Cancelling PolicyAll changes and cancellations for registration must occur at least 24 hours before your appointment. There is no fee for changing your registration online, and you may change your registration more than once. However, payment may be required when processing certain changes (e.g., changing from a less expensive test to a more expensive test). You must wait at least 48 hours before requesting an additional change.
Please note: If you have registered for a test that is scheduled to begin within 24 hours, that appointment cannot be cancelled, and no refund or transfer of fees will be provided except as presented in the “Absentee/No Show Policy” posted on www.fl.nesinc.com.
Refund PolicyA refund of your test fees is provided for registration cancellations made at least 24 hours before your testing appointment. Examinees must cancel testing appointments online as described at www.fl.nesinc.com on the “Review or Reschedule” page. Cancellations of testing appointments cannot be made by phone.
Refunds will not be offered under any other conditions.
Absentee PolicyIf you fail to take, retake, or complete a test for which you are registered on a scheduled test date, no fees or charges will be refunded; however, your test registration may be transferred to a subsequent administration under either of the following conditions:
- illness or injury of the examinee or a member of the examinee’s immediate family that prevents the examinee from taking the test, or
- death of a member of the examinee’s immediate family within 15 days before the test date
